How to pick the right profile picture
- Choose a picture that looks like you and is up-to-date: You may ruin the first impression when someone meets you in person for the first time only to find that you look completely different from your profile picture.
- Make sure your face takes up at least 60% of the picture: Your face is the main focus, no one wants to know about where you've been to for summer vacation.
- Choose the right expression: You should appear friendly and approachable.
- Choose a background that is not distracting: Again, your face is the main focus, not the scenery. Keep it simple.
