You can change your Twitter name in either a web browser or on your Twitter app. Below are detailed instructions on how to change Twitter display name using a web browser and the app; let’s take a look now.
Change your display name in a web browser
Step 1. Go to https://twitter.com/ and log into your account.
Step 2. On the left side of your screen, click on your profile picture to go to your profile page.
Step 3. Click on the "Edit profile" button, which is located under your header photo.
Step 4. Now, you can type your new display name in the Name field.
It’s worth noting that your display name can be up to 50 characters long. Plus, you are not required to choose a unique display name.
Step 5. When you are done, simply click “Save” to finish.

Change your Twitter name using the phone app
Changing your display name on Twitter using the mobile app is as quick and simple as doing so using a web browser.
Step 1. Launch the Twitter app on your device. Log in to your account if you haven’t done that yet.
Step 2. Go to your profile page by tapping your small profile icon at the top left of the screen and selecting Profile.
Step 3. On your profile page, simply tap "Edit profile."
Step 4. Now, you can type your new display name in the Name field.
You can change your Twitter name to whatever you want, as long as it does not exceed 50 characters long.
Step 5. When you are done, simply click "Save" to finish.
Congrats! You have now changed your Twitter name successfully. And no matter whether you change your Twitter name on the app or in a web browser, you can change it as many times as you want.
