How To Create Or Remove A Filter In Yahoo Mail
You can create up to 200 filters to tell incoming messages which folder to be delivered to or to tell unwanted emails to go directly to the Trash. It's a great way to keep your emails and inbox organized. Follow these steps to create or remove filters in Yahoo Mail.
Create a filter in Yahoo Mail
Step 1: Go to your Yahoo inbox.
Step 2: Click the Gear icon at the top right and select More Settings.
Step 3: Click Filters in the left column.
Step 4: Click Add new filters.
Step 5: Enter a filter name.
Step 6: Enter the filter criteria.
Step 7: Select a folder to move all emails that meet the conditions.
Step 8: Click Save.
Message filter has been saved successfully.
Note: The order of your filter list also matters. Filters are prioritized from the top down. In case two filters apply to the same email, the top filter will be used. You can change the order by choosing a filter and clicking the up or down arrow.
Remove a filter in Yahoo Mail
Step 1: Go to your Yahoo Mail inbox.
Step 2: Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner and select More Settings.
Step 3: Click Filters.
Step 4: Select the filter you want to remove.
Step 5: Click on the Trash icon.
Step 6: Click Delete to confirm your action.
You can also edit an existing filter. You just need to go to Filters, choose a filter you want to edit, make your changes in the right column and click Save.
