How to turn on and off DND mode on your phone
On Android phones
It’s easy to turn on DND on your Android mobile devices, and here’s how:
Step 1. Go to the Settings app.
Step 2. Tap "Sound & Vibration."
Step 3. Select "Do Not Disturb."
Step 4. Tap "Turn on now" to enable the mode.
If you don’t want to mute every notification on your phone, you can customize it by adding exceptions using the options listed on the screen. This way, you can let some people, Digital Wellbeing, and Alarms and media interrupt you even when the DND feature is activated.
If you want to turn off this mode, simply repeat steps 1, 2, and 3, while in step 4, simply tap "Turn off now."
Of course, there is more than one method to enable and disable Do Not Disturb on your Android phone. To quickly access DND, you just need to swipe down from the top of your screen to reveal the Control Center. Here, you’ll see the Do Not Disturb icon; tap it to turn DND on, and tap it one more time to turn it off. On iPhone
Turning on Do Not Disturb is also super easy. Here’s how to activate this feature on iOS 15 and later.

Step 4. Swipe the toggle switch to the right to turn Do Not Disturb on. Here, you can further customize your DND mode with options like Allowed Notifications, Home Screen, Lock Screen, and more.
Step 5. To turn off Do Not Disturb, simply swipe the toggle switch to the left.
To enable DND on older versions of iOS, you also head to the Settings app, tap "Do Not Disturb," and then swipe the toggle switch to the right to turn Do Not Disturb on. Here, you can also customize this mode the way you want with options like Scheduled, Allow Calls For, Repeated Calls, and more.
Besides, you can also quickly access DND by using the Control Panel. So, if you use newer versions of iOS, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen to pull down the Control Center, select Focus, and then tap Do Not Disturb.
