How to upload videos longer than 15 minutes on YouTube

YouTube users can only upload videos that are up to 15 minutes long. So if you upload videos longer than 15 minutes, the upload may fail. However, we are here to help you increase your upload limit. Here's how!

1. Log into your YouTube account.

2. Go to https://www.youtube.com/upload.

3. At the bottom, click Increase your limit.

4. You will be asked to verify your account. Select how you want to receive a confirmation code.

Choose either Call me with an automated voice message or Text me the verification code.

5. Type your phone number and then click Submit.

Click change language to choose the language you want to be displayed when using the service.

Keep your phone nearby if you select Call me with an automated voice message. You will receive a call telling you the code to verify your account. That call will be made only once. And it will come immediately after you select Submit.

6. Depending on your option, you will receive the code via either an automated voice call or a text message. 

7. Type the verification code and click Submit.

That's all. You are now able to post videos longer than 15 minutes. It can be up to 12 hours in duration. So the process of increasing the upload limited is just that simple.
