How to Manage the About Section on Your Facebook Profile
Your About page on Facebook shows some brief information about yourself. It contains your name, birthday, gender, work and education, family and relationships, life events, and some other basic details about you. It lets other people get a brief overview of who you are and what you do. And in case you don't want to show it to the world, you can control who can view these details and hide certain details on Facebook.
How to hide things you've added to your About page on Facebook
Step 1: Log into your Facebook account.
Step 2: Click on your name at the top.
Step 3: Select About under your cover photo.
Step 4: Select a section that you want to change.
Step 5: Click the Edit icon.
Step 6: Click the down arrow icon and then select an option.
Note:
You need to remember that things you hide from that section can still be visible elsewhere on Facebook.
To control what sections to hide or show on Facebook:
Step 1: Go to your Facebook profile page.
Step 2: Click More under your cover photo and then select Manage Sections.
Step 3: Check or uncheck the sections that you want to show or hide.
Step 4: Select Save.
