Features
Outlook is an excellent tool for enterprise-level collaboration since it contains all productivity capabilities in a single, unified program and everything can be shared with different permission settings for each user.
A. Email
Outlook is mostly used to send and receive emails, and it works the same way as all other email services. Users can use Outlook as their main email account or as a third-party app to manage all of their emails from services like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc. in one place. You don't have to switch between different accounts. To get to other features, click the menu button in the top left corner.
B. Calendar
Outlook Calendar has a similar look and feels to the Calendar app in Windows 10, and users can import their calendar entries from other calendaring services into Outlook by using files from those services. It has views for daily, weekly, monthly, and the agenda. It also has a to-do list so users can keep track of what they need to do. Users can create and share multiple calendars, and each user can have a different level of access to each calendar. Microsoft also puts a forecast of the weather right on the Calendar.
C. People
Outlook People is where you keep track of your contacts. Contacts can be added from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media sites. Users can also sort their contacts and put them in folders to make things easier to handle. For example, you could have a folder for people from work, a folder for family, and so on. Outlook People lets users link all of a person's accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) to a single profile with all of their contact information.
D. Tasks
Outlook also includes an integrated to-do list. Users are able to create tasks and organize them into folders. Outlook Tasks provides the user with fields such as the task's subject, start, and end dates, percent complete, priority, and amount of effort expended. In addition, advanced editing tools including as bold, italic, underline, numbering, and bullet points were included. In Outlook, tasks can also be assigned to others by sending them as emails.
E. Skype integration
Skype is integrated with Outlook, allowing users to see their Skype contacts and discussions as well as make calls without the need for Skype's desktop software. Simply click on the Skype symbol in the upper-right corner to gain access.
