1. I forgot my password
You can go to the Yahoo Mail Sign-in Helper if you want to change your password because you forgot it. To get back in, you'll need to give your Yahoo ID and choose a password recovery method, such as using your recovery phone number or an alternative email address.

2. I forgot my Yahoo ID
The Sign-in Helper can do more than just change your password. All you have to do is give the secondary email address or phone number that is linked to your account. Yahoo will remind you of something by sending you a message.
3. I think someone is using my account
If you are locked out of your Yahoo account because someone else changed your password, you can utilize the Sign-in Assistance to regain access. You should immediately change your password and follow Yahoo's instructions to safeguard a compromised account. Always use a strong password.
4. "Invalid ID or Password" message
This means that you may have entered your ID or Password incorrectly. You should check the following:
- Caps Lock or Num Lock Keys: make sure these two keys on your keyboard haven't accidentally been pressed.

7. The sign-in screen loops or reloads
If you click Sign in and the sign-in screen keeps coming back, you may need to delete the cookies from your browser or reset the Sign-in cookie and try signing in again.
To clear the Sign-in cookie:
Step 1: Click Not you? on the sign-in page.
Step 2: Type your Yahoo ID and password, then click Sign in.
8. I'm using the right password and Yahoo ID, but I still can't sign in
You might be using an old browser or one that doesn't work with this site. The latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Safari work best with Yahoo.
